Abstract: Perhaps your favourite sum is biased \ldots leaning a little towards the negative, perhaps? Perhaps your sum is suspiciously similar to the Moebius function $\mu(n)$? What can we do with such fake mu’s? Come along to find out, and together, we can make arithmetic great again!

This is joint work with Greg Martin (UBC) and Mike Mossinghoff (CCR, Princeton).
